Error:
If you trying to add a member server to an Exchange DAG you might encounter the following error:
The error is “The Authentication service is unknown”.
Solution:
Stopped the windows firewall service on both machines and set the startup to disabled. Rebooted the 2 exchange servers and ran wizard again to add the server to the DAG and it was successful.
